The wedding was set in Charlotte’s parents garden on a late January summers day. Hand-painted signs lead the way, whilst lanterns and lights hung throughout the trees. Through the paths and down through the trees is where the ceremony was held in the marquee, white petals made the aisle. Hanging was a handmade backdrop, I created this idea from something I had seen on green wedding shoes made from blue, white & navy (the theme for the day) cotton cut into small strands and ties to a piece of bamboo to create a perfect backdrop. Transformed at night tables were set and the music turned up, casablanca lilies surrounded by bear grass inside a large fishbowl vase and tea-lights twinkling beside.
The bridal bouquet was made of white hydrangea’s, cream calla lilies and the wonderfully scented casablanca lilies all bound with open stems in white silk and pinned with pearls.
The bridesmaids bouquets were white casablanca lilies grouped in threes to create a bouquet, them stems were left long and open and bound in navy silk and pinned with pearls.Father of the bride his buttonhole was a simple cream calla lilies bound with moss and attached with a pearl
